Informed Choice has been helping our neighbors obtain insurance plans since 1998, and have since grown to serve thousands of satisfied clients living throughout the state. Informed Choice is founded on the guiding principle of education. Our mission is to teach future policyholders facts about insurance so that they may make an informed choice. Insurance applicants have options to consider and understand. Our goal is to explain insurance options, so that our clients can reach the best personal decision possible. We offer a comfortable office setting for both personal appointments and informative group presentations. Our sales team is a group of highly-trained, well-experienced, licensed insurance agents. Sales team members earn a salary and benefits, and are not commissioned agents of the companies we represent. In addition to our expert sales team, Informed Choice has a full-time, in-house, highly-responsive, and knowledgeable customer service department. Our customer service department is dedicated to handling any insurance issue that may arise for our clients. Insurance Plans Offered As an independent life and health insurance agency, Informed Choice represents many insurance companies. We may represent more health insurance companies than life insurance companies, and are able to offer many kinds of health and life insurance plans. The insurance companies we represent and the competitive products we offer vary - as do our clients. Most people arrive at our office in search of health insurance coverage. Many are interested because they’re about to receive Medicare, or they may already be on Medicare but wanting to change plans. To best satisfy the individual needs and wants of Medicare beneficiaries, Informed Choice offers a competitive array of Medicare supplement, Medicare Prescription Drug and Medicare Advantage plans. We often help early-retirees and retirees (and their spouses) to find the best-suited health insurance coverage after moving off a group health plan. For those under 65 years of age, Informed Choice offers basic major medical health insurance plans that provide coverage for an individual or a family. We offer other kinds of health insurance, as well - such as long term care insurance, cancer insurance and critical illness plans, short term medical insurance, dental plans, and travel insurance. In addition to health insurance, Informed Choice offers some ordinary life insurance, and some unique life insurance plans, including youth-life and final expense plans. Informative Presentations Informed Choice regularly hosts presentations for people who like to learn in a group setting and are interested in learning about insurance. We keep meeting sizes small and presentations run about an hour. Our presentations are free and attendees are under no obligation to buy. Attending a presentation makes a good starting point, to begin gaining the knowledge necessary to make an informed choice. Some who attend our presentations also bring a friend or family member.
